Translated from DutchYou are an independent entrepreneur, even when you work for the same client for a long time. That means a VAT return every quarter, an annual income tax return, and an administration the Dutch tax authorities must be able to follow seven years back. We take that over completely, so you can concentrate on the assignment.
To qualify for the self-employed deduction you have to spend at least 1,225 hours a year on your business. In MyTaxMate you track your hours per assignment; we use that record as evidence with your tax return, and we flag it when you are falling behind.
Your filings simply continue: even in a quarter without turnover a VAT return has to be filed, and we take care of it. If the gap lasts longer, talk to your dedicated contact — then we look together at whether another package suits you better.
Whether the arrangement counts as genuinely independent is assessed by you and your client, and it is settled on the contract side. What we do is make sure your administration supports your entrepreneurship: your invoicing, your time records, your investments and your deductions. If you run into a tax question, we think along with you.
Yes, and you can switch at any point in the year, including halfway through a financial year. We contact your current bookkeeper or accounting package, collect your earlier annual figures and arrange the handover. All you do is approve.
