At TaxMate we do bookkeeping a little differently. We are a dynamic start-up focused on financial and fiscal services for sole proprietors, partnerships and freelancers. From our office on the Singel in Amsterdam we combine the latest technologies in bookkeeping with the expertise and personal approach of a traditional accounting firm. We innovate continuously to make sure that both our clients and our team always get the best. With a driven and energetic team we work to deliver the best service at the best price. We leave the dusty image of the traditional accounting firm behind and set a new standard!
Your role
As a Customer Service Representative you are the first point of contact for our clients. You take them by the hand and guide them through our systems whenever they have questions or get stuck. Both by phone and by email you are the face of the company.
You are also the link between the different departments of the company. You connect client questions to the right person within TaxMate and make sure clients are helped as efficiently as possible. Of course, the intention is that you take as much ownership as possible and try to handle situations yourself.
What do we expect from you?
• Availability of 2-3 days per week (16 - 24 hours).
• You are quick on your feet, you do not panic easily and can act fast in unforeseen circumstances.
• You are a strong communicator and socially skilled.
• You speak and write fluent Dutch and English.
• You think in solutions and are decisive.
• You have an affinity with bookkeeping/taxation or are open to learning more about it.
